Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – Prime Minister Dr. Keith Christopher Rowley has accepted the recommendation from the Salaries Review Commission (SRC) to obtain a salary increase.
Based on the SRC’s reports, Dr. Rowley’s new salary is set to be $87,847.00. The Prime Minister clarified that his duty in the process is to receive the presidential report, ensure it is reviewed by the Cabinet, and then have it delivered to Parliament for further action. This increase marks a significant adjustment in the compensation for senior public officials.
