Police Seize 32 Cannabis Plants in Tobago
March 26, 2025 – Another drug bust in Tobago…A joint law enforcement operation in the Roxborough district led to the discovery of a cannabis grow house and the seizure of 32 fully grown cannabis trees on Saturday, March 22nd. The intelligence-led raid, conducted between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Rose Hill, Delaford area, involved officers from the Tobago Divisional Task Force, Canine Unit, Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF)/Guard and Emergency Branch (GEB), and the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment. During the search, officers secured the area and searched multiple homes, uncovering the grow house at one residence. The cannabis plants, with an estimated street value of $13,000, were confiscated, and two suspects were arrested. PC Thorpe of the Tobago Divisional Task Force is leading ongoing investigations.
