PNM Stalwart Accuses PM Rowley of Manipulating Party Constitution
January 9, 2025 – According to party stalwart and former Labour Minister Jennifer Baptiste-Primus, one man is manipulating the constitution of the People’s National Movement (PNM). She made the statement in response to Monday’s announcement that MP Stuart Young would succeed Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley, who is preparing to resign in the coming months. Baptiste-Primus argued that the move goes against the party’s constitution and deprives the membership of their right to have a say in the matter.
