Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – April 14th, 2025 – Prime Minister Stuart Young met with Chargé d’Affaires at the United States Embassy in Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Jenifer Neidhart de Ortiz, for high-level talks at Whitehall this morning. The meeting was centered on energy-related issues, with a strong focus on enhancing energy security for Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean region. Dr. Neidhart de Ortiz was accompanied by Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. Charlie Franta. This engagement reflects ongoing cooperation between Trinidad and Tobago and the United States in tackling regional energy challenges and building stronger bilateral ties. It is part of the government’s continued efforts to strengthen international partnerships in the energy sector
