PH Driver Suspected in 14-Year-Old’s Rape Now in Police Custody
14-year-old allegedly raped by PH driver on the way to school.
Scarborough, Tobago – June 14, 2024 – A PH driver has been taken into police custody following allegations that he raped a 14-year-old girl while she was on her way to school.
The incident reportedly occurred on Monday (June 10, 2024). The student had stopped the PH driver in hopes of getting to school. However, she was allegedly taken to another location where she was beaten and raped. After the incident, the driver reportedly dropped her off on a road near the school. Upon contacting her relatives, she was immediately taken to the Scarborough General Hospital to receive medical treatment. The driver was later apprehended by the police. Investigations into this serious incident are ongoing.
