Passenger Dies After Collapsing At Piarco Airport — Emts Responded Immediately, But Victim Later Died
A tragic incident occurred at the Piarco International Airport this morning when an arriving international passenger suffered a medical emergency and became unresponsive in the Immigration Hall. The Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago confirmed that its Emergency Medical Technician team responded swiftly and provided immediate aid. The passenger was later transported to the Arima Health Facility but was sadly pronounced dead. The Authority has extended condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
