Scarborough, Tobago – Former Secretary of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment, Kwesi Des Vignes, has expressed frustration on Facebook about the situation at the Studley Park Quarry. The complaint centers on truckers being forced to wait overnight for aggregate via a number system.
Des Vignes questioned how the quarry could have regressed to this state despite significant improvements and investments made in the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) special purpose company under the previous administration. This critique highlights concerns about the current management of the quarry and its impact on the trucking industry in Tobago.
