Scarborough, Tobago – August 5, 2025 – One individual has been brought before the courts in connection with a violent robbery at EDay Supermarket in Scarborough. On Monday, June 30, 2025, a group of approximately six men, some armed with knives, stormed the supermarket on Milford Road, Scarborough. They demanded cash from three victims inside, inflicting several chop wounds on their bodies. The assailants made off with approximately $200,000 Trinidad and Tobago dollars and $15,000 US dollars.
Following extensive inquiries, PC Forbes and a team of officers proceeded to Trinidad, where 28-year-old Codde Cudjoe of Beetham Gardens, Trinidad, was arrested. Cudjoe has been charged with Robbery with Violence and appeared before Master Franklyn on August 4, 2025. He was granted $250,000 bail with surety.
