Tobago cultural groups to miss out on Prime Minister’s Best Village finals in Trinidad.
Scarborough, Tobago – In a surprising turn of events leading up to the highly anticipated Prime Minister’s Best Village Trophy Competition finals, Tobago’s cultural groups received some unexpected news. Days before the national event, while preparations were fully underway, they were informed that sponsorship from the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) would not cover all participating groups for the main finals.
Instead, a separate finals event specifically for Tobago cultural groups would be arranged at a later date. This decision means Tobago’s full contingent will not be present at the national Best Village finals, impacting the island’s representation in the prestigious competition.
