Newly appointed Acting Commissioner of Police, Junior Benjamin has praised the work of former Commissioner of Police Erla Harewood-Christopher and committed to continuing the efforts she started. On January 30th, Harewood Christopher was arrested and detained following allegations of the illegal procurement of automatic weapons. She was later released without charges and was subsequently suspended.
