July 21st, 2025 – In the wake of a recently declared nationwide State of Emergency in Trinidad and Tobago, Tobago is moving swiftly to reinforce its security measures. This comes with the launch of new technological tools and an increased law enforcement presence, following a crucial meeting of the Tobago Security Council on Sunday (July 20, 2025).
The island’s leadership is actively reassuring both residents and visitors that Tobago remains a safe and welcoming destination, despite growing national security concerns stemming from the State of Emergency in Trinidad and Tobago. New initiatives by the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) aim to bolster public safety and ensure continued peace on the island.
