Need legal framework for THA police

Chairman of Tobago Business Chamber Martin George cautions the need for a legal framework before having a Tobago police force Under T.H.A.

There is a need to establish the legal framework for the development and operationalization of a Tobago Police Force under the THA, according to Tobago Business Chamber Chairman Martin George. He cautioned that the current legislation governing Tobago, the THA Act 40 of 1996, does not permit any influence on national security matters.
