The intensive search for two-year-old Angelo Tobias Plaza entered a critical new phase today as a coordinated multi-agency operation blanketed both coastal waters and rugged terrain across East Tobago.
Angelo was reported missing from his family’s seaside home along Cambridge Trace, Goodwood, around 7:30 PM on Monday, May 11. Answering an Urgent Question in the House of Representatives today, Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander confirmed that specialized investigative, tactical, and rescue units have converged on the island, deploying ground search parties, divers, and aerial drone surveillance. However, search and recovery teams operating along the Goodwood coastline have faced severe challenges due to rough seas, strong currents, and low underwater visibility.
