Motion to support Tobago bills
Minority prepares to bring a motion to the house calling for full support of Tobago bills in parliament.
The Minority Council is seeking support from the entire House for the two Tobago bills currently before Parliament. Minority Leader Kelvon Morris explained at a press conference that the Tobago Self-Government Bill and the Tobago Island Government Bill aim to grant the island the autonomy it has long sought. He expressed disappointment that the current THA administration has not moved to support the bills through a motion in the past three years.
