Tobago artists expressed their desire for greater recognition. During a broadcast of “4 The Hour,” soca-artist Simba Lion and producer Michael Skeete discussed their views on the successes and shortcomings of Tobago Carnival. This encompassed the need for increased attention to Tobago artists, the importance of featuring more Tobagonian music during the carnival, and the aspect of Carnival with which the island should be predominantly associated.
