Ministry of Education Begins First Tranche of Book Grants, Payments to Start Monday
Ministry of education begins distribution of 1st tranche of $1000 book grants
August 9, 2024 – The Ministry of Education (MOE) has begun the first tranche of payments for the government’s $1,000 book grant. According to a media release, cheques have been dispatched to Education District Offices and will be distributed starting Monday, August 12th, 2024.
Qualified recipients are being contacted today, Friday. Additionally, direct deposit payments have started, with funds sent to some banks and applicants notified. This initiative aims to provide timely financial assistance to families to purchase school supplies for the upcoming academic year.
