Mismanagement of money in health

Minority leader Kelvon Morris accuses T.H.A. of mismanaging money by purchasing ambulances that are not fit for purpose, poorly designed incinerator and overpaying for vegetables for hospital cafeteria.

Scarborough, Tobago – Minority Leader Kelvon Morris has accused the Division of Health, Wellness, and Social Protection of mismanaging public funds. Speaking at a press conference today, Morris revealed several issues with the Division’s spending and projects.

His claims include:

Unsuitable Ambulances: Recently purchased ambulances are allegedly not fit for their intended use.

Flawed Incinerator: The new hospital incinerator was reportedly built with incorrect dimensions.

Overpriced Supplies: There are concerns about the exorbitant prices of ingredients being supplied to the hospital kitchen.
