October 7, 2025- With the Tobago Carnival just three weeks away, questions are swirling over leadership in the Division of Culture and Antiquities. Education Secretary Zorisha Hackett, who was recently assigned temporary responsibility for the portfolio, is currently out of the country attending the Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) in Barbados from October 5–12.
Minority Leader Kelvon Morris raised the issue publicly on his Facebook page, asking who is effectively steering the Division during this critical preparation period.
