The Ministry of Labour is distancing itself from a false WhatsApp message claiming that individuals who worked between 1990 and 2024 are entitled to withdraw $1,500 from the Ministry of Labour and Employment. The Ministry clarified that no such initiative exists and that there is no Ministry of Labour and Employment in Trinidad and Tobago.
