A 22-year-old man from Les Coteaux was arrested on Thursday after officers seized 28 cannabis trees from his home. The arrest followed an intelligence-led search operation by the Tobago Divisional Task Force according to WPC Natalie Alfred. Upon searching the property at New Wood Trace, they found 28 cannabis trees—nine on the eastern side and 19 in pots on the northern side. The man admitted to owning the trees but denied having firearms. Police said he was also found with a protected game species, which was released into the wild. The suspect was arrested, and the cannabis plants were seized.
