Logos Hope arrives in Tobago
Largest floating book fair, Logos Hope docks in Scarborough port .
The world’s largest floating book fair, Logos Hope, has arrived in Tobago! The vessel docked in Scarborough just after 7:00 a.m. today. Logos Hope is a missionary-funded ship staffed by volunteers from over 65 countries worldwide under an organisation called Operation Mobilization. It offers affordable educational books at every port it visits. The ship’s last visit to Tobago was in 2017. Its arrival today was warmly welcomed with drums and steelpan performances organised by the Division of Tourism, Culture, Antiquities, and Transportation. Also present were members of the Logos Hope lineup team and several pastors. The vessel is open to visitors daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. until December 23rd, after which it will sail to Trinidad.
