Scarborough, Tobago – A significant amount of work and effort went into transforming Tobago’s Botanic Gardens into a dazzling display of Christmas lights for the 2023 festive season. Dedan Daniel, Chairman of the Tobago Reforestation and Watershed Rehabilitation Programme (TRWRP), stated the organization’s goal was to make the 2023 Christmas season distinctly unique from previous years.
Daniel encouraged participation in the extensive lineup of planned activities, which included family-friendly movies, lively parang music, miniature golf, and various other events, along with a range of goods and services to engage visitors’ attention.
Tamika Seales-Mansano, Deputy Chairman of the TRWRP, highlighted the Botanic Gardens as the most fitting location to infuse a bit of Christmas cheer into Scarborough. She explained that the transformation included elaborate light displays and a diverse array of activities specifically designed to engage Tobago residents and foster camaraderie among all visitors.
