Pink Reign: “Let Her Play” Aerobics Program Promotes Fitness for Women & Girls in Tobago
Ministry Of Sports And Community Development Hosted Pink Reign-“Let Her Play” Aerobic Session
Scarborough, Tobago – January/February 2024 – The Ministry of Sports and Community Development hosted its “Pink Reign: Let Her Play” aerobics program, an initiative designed to promote fitness and camaraderie among women and young girls across Trinidad and Tobago. The event occurred at the Scarborough Esplanade last evening (referring to a date in early 2024) and continued every Thursday until February 8th, 2024.
Our camera crew delved into one of the sessions, providing insights into this series aimed at promoting physical activity and fostering a sense of unity among female participants. The “Pink Reign” campaign, which includes the “Let Her Play” module, is a key effort by the Ministry to encourage greater participation of women and girls in sports and physical well-being.
The program at the Scarborough Esplanade offered an engaging opportunity for women and young girls in Tobago to engage in regular exercise within a supportive community environment, underscoring the importance of health and wellness initiatives on the island
