Trinidad and Tobago’s Jenelle Thong wins Miss Congeniality at Miss Universe
Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – Trinidad and Tobago’s representative, Jenelle Thong, has won the prestigious Miss Congeniality title at the 2024 Miss Universe pageant. This award is especially meaningful because it is voted on by the other contestants, recognizing her warmth and friendly spirit.
Thong’s win comes after she faced a lot of online criticism for some of her fashion choices during the preliminary events. Many people on social media felt her outfits didn’t meet the high standards of the pageant. However, despite the fashion debate, her kind character and positive interactions with her fellow delegates clearly stood out. The 73rd Miss Universe 2024 final is scheduled to take place in Mexico City on November 16th.
