Carol Ann Birchwood James Former Vice President of the Tobago Hotel and Tourism Association noted the increase in flights and the leasing of Aircraft, will resolve the issues of the air traffic situation. The impact on national arrivals, as well as the disruption to foreign flights, according to Birchwood-James, is the fundamental reason why the matter is gaining national attention.

As people from Tobago need to travel to Trinidad for business and people from Trinidad need to travel to Tobago for vacation, Birchwood-James stated, There is no consolation for Tobagonians as there is always a flight issue and a way in which this situation can be resolved is by collaborating with stakeholders and Caribbean Airlines.
