A late-night police operation in Tobago has resulted in a major drug seizure and the arrest of a suspect linked to a recent robbery. Around 10:15 p.m. on Monday, officers from the Inter-Agency Task Force conducted an exercise in the Riseland district, where they observed a white Tida believed to be connected to a recent robbery. Further investigations led officers to a nearby apartment building, where they discovered 2.6 kilograms of cannabis along with an undisclosed quantity of cocaine. One man was arrested in connection with the robbery, and investigations are ongoing.
