Hundreds of Animals Rescued: Serpentarium Wildlife Conservation Aids Tobago Oil Spill Victims
Over six hundred and sixteen animals rescued, rehabilitated and released during oil spill clean-up.
Lambeau, Tobago – April 19, 2024 – During Tobago’s recent oil spill crisis, Serpentarium Wildlife Conservation Ltd spearheaded crucial efforts, successfully rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing over 616 affected animals.
The organization set up a specialized center at the Lambeau Command Centre, where they meticulously cleaned and rehabilitated oil-affected wildlife. Animals were subsequently released into safe zones like Bon Accord, Arnos Vale, and Plymouth – areas confirmed to be unaffected by the spill. This dedicated work highlights significant wildlife rescue efforts and environmental protection during the Tobago oil spill.
