Scarborough, Tobago – August 9, 2024 – The political leader of the Progressive Democratic Patriots (PDP), Watson Duke, is calling on Prime Minister Dr. Keith Christopher Rowley and Chief Secretary Farley Chavez Augustine to take action against the ongoing crime in Tobago.

Appearing on the Good Morning Tobago Show, Duke aired concerns over the safety and security of Tobagonians. He asserted that the escalating crime rate requires a more hands-on and urgent response from both the central government, led by Prime Minister Rowley, and the Tobago House of Assembly (THA), led by Chief Secretary Augustine. Duke’s comments underscore a pressing demand for effective crime-fighting strategies to restore a sense of security to the island.
