The appeal pertains to former police commissioner Gary Griffith’s complaint about the legality of the committee appointed by the Prime Minister to investigate the police’s firearms department. The judge ruled that while the report could be considered by the Cabinet, it should not be publicized until the Police Service Commission and Commissioner of Police decide how to handle it.
