Government Appoints Cricket Legend Dwayne Bravo as Ambassador of Sport
September 5, 2025- Former West Indies captain and current TKR head coach Dwayne Bravo has been named an Ambassador of Sport by the government, announced Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Phillip Watts during a Post-Cabinet Media Briefing.
The Minister commended Bravo’s outstanding contributions to cricket and the nation’s cultural identity, highlighting his international appeal that has showcased Trinidad and Tobago on the global stage.
With this appointment, the government hopes Bravo’s worldwide influence and business expertise will create new opportunities to advance the country’s sport and culture sectors.
