From Ecce To Secondary, Energy And Excellence Drive Learning Across The Island

As schools across Tobago reopened for the 2025/2026 academic year, the Division of Education, Research and Technology joined principals, staff, and students to celebrate the start of a new and promising school year. Leading the visits were Secretary of the Division, Zorisha Hackett; School Supervisors Sherry-Anne Rollocks-Hackett, Phillip Rochford, Milton Eastman, and Corine Rochford; and Project Manager Shem Hercules. At Belle Garden ECCE Centre, the newest group of 3+ students was welcomed with enthusiasm. Belle Garden Anglican Primary School staff engaged with the Education officials on plans for school growth and transformation. Roxborough Secondary School hosted discussions on achievements and strategies for continued excellence, joined by Deputy Chief Secretary Dr. Faith Brebnor, an alumna, and MP for Tobago East, David Thomas. Mason Hall Government Primary School showcased its nearly completed washroom facilities.
