Former Prime Minister Dr Rowley Donates Books To His Alma Mater Bishop’s High School Tobago
September 30, 2025- Former Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley returned to his educational roots in Tobago today, visiting his alma mater, Bishop’s High School, not only as a distinguished alumnus but also as a generous benefactor.
Dr. Rowley spent the morning engaging with current students and staff, culminating in a donation of books and reading materials from his personal collection to strengthen the school’s library resources. The gesture comes at a meaningful time as the Anglican-run school recently celebrated its centennial and continues to uphold a strong academic record, including a near 99% pass rate at the CAPE level.
Following the visit, Dr. Rowley shared a photo with students on social media, referring to them as his protégés and highlighting the importance of nurturing the next generation. “A morning with my protégés at alma mater, Bishop’s High School, Tobago. Donated reading material from my personal library to the school library,” he wrote.
