Lowlands, Tobago – June 26, 2024 – Police seized one firearm and significant quantities of narcotics during an early morning exercise in Lowlands, Tobago, on Monday, June 24, 2024.
The operation, conducted between 10 PM on Sunday (June 23) and 2 AM on Monday, included officers from the Tobago Divisional Task Force and Shirvan Road Police Station. Acting on information, officers discovered one pistol, 647 grams of cocaine, and two plastic bags containing 2.1 kilograms of marijuana. This successful operation highlights the ongoing efforts by the Tobago Police to combat illicit drug and gun activities on the island.
