Fear and anxiety have gripped residents and business owners in Mt. Grace, Tobago, following a brazen double armed robbery on Wednesday night—marking the second violent robbery to strike the community in less than a week.
The incident unfolded when three armed assailants targeted a roadside food cart before storming an adjacent family-owned mini-mart, holding proprietors and patrons at gunpoint. The suspects escaped with an undisclosed quantity of cash, cellular phones, and personal valuables, prompting detectives from the Scarborough Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to launch an active manhunt to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
