Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – The Office of the Prime Minister announced in a press release yesterday that Commissioner of Police Erla Harewood-Christopher’s term has been extended by one year, taking effect on May 15th.
This decision by the Cabinet allows the Commissioner to continue her service, ensuring continuity in the leadership of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service. The extension was made while the Police Service Commission continues its process to recruit a permanent Commissioner.
