EMA vows to take action soon following Turtle egg nesting site destruction

Scarborough, TobagoHayden Romano, the Managing Director of the Environmental Management Authority (EMA), has addressed the alarming destruction of turtle eggs at a nesting site at Turtle Beach.

He discussed the critical matter during an interview on the Tobago Updates GMT morning program. The destruction of turtle eggs at nesting sites is a serious environmental concern, threatening the survival of vulnerable sea turtle populations. Romano’s comments aim to raise awareness and highlight the need for greater protection of these marine species during the nesting season.
