Scarborough, Tobago – The Secretary of the Division of Education, Research, and Technology expressed her pleasure at witnessing the growth of some youth debaters whom she has known since primary school.
She noted that the Tobago Day debate offers young people a valuable opportunity to express themselves and provides a platform for discussing important issues affecting the island. This year’s debate on housing showcased the thoughtful contributions of young people, and the Education Secretary’s comments reinforce the importance of these forums for developing Tobago’s future leaders.
