The Division of Education, Research and Technology has dismissed claims of delays in the start of today’s Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) exams, assuring the public that exams began on time at all centres. This follows a video circulating online in which the Minister of Sports and Community Development, Shamfa Cudjoe-Lewis, raised concerns about missing clocks at some exam venues. However, the Division says those claims are false. In an official statement, education officials confirmed that all centres were fully prepared, and invigilators were provided with devices to accurately track time. “There were no reported delays,” the Division said, adding that even students with special accommodations began on schedule, with adjusted end times handled according to guidelines. Parents and the public are being urged to rely on verified sources for accurate updates .
