Ease of doing business should be priority
Chairman of Tobago business chamber Martin George calls for ease of doing business to be prioritized.
While economists and experts analyze the measures in Monday’s national budget, Martin George, Chairman of the Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce, is calling for more focus on improving the ease of doing business. According to the World Bank, Trinidad and Tobago ranks 105th globally in this area. Despite Finance Minister Colm Imbert repeatedly mentioning initiatives like TTBizLink as improvements, George insists that the experience remains frustrating for business owners.
