Drowning At Sea
A crew of divers, TEMA and Coast Guard employees, lifeguards, and reef boat captains started a search operation at 6 a.m. on Monday morning with the hope of the safe return of 23-year-old Mathias Jerry. Jerry was a resident of Les Coteaux and was said to be an ambitious young man.
However, the body of Jerry was found by the Frontier Divers boat crew at 9:39 a.m. Jerry was reported missing on Sunday afternoon after his jetski came ashore without him. It was reported that Jerry was wearing a lifejacket while operating his jet ski. Inspector Millier of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service says investigations are ongoing at this time.
