David West reappointed as head of the PCA
David West has been re-appointed as director of the police complaints authority for a third consecutive term effective December 13, 2024.
DAVID West has been reappointed as the director of the Police Complaints Authority (PCA) for a third consecutive term. A release from the PCA today stated that acting President Nigel de Freitas confirmed West’s appointment for the maximum five-year term. His appointment took effect today. West took the Oath of Office before Acting President de Freitas at the Office of the President. West has served as PCA Director since 2014.
