The People’s National Movement (PNM) Tobago Council has elected a new Political Leader, as Member of Parliament for Tobago West, Shamfa Cudjoe-Lewis, secured a decisive victory in the party’s internal leadership election with 63% of the total votes cast.
The high-stakes internal election saw spirited grassroots mobilization, long queues, and temporary ballot shortages at several polling stations across the sister isle.
