Scarborough, Tobago – Details of the Coastal Zone Planning and Management Policy were presented to Tobago House of Assembly (THA) stakeholders in Tobago today. The plan, which received cabinet approval in 2023, is now being presented to stakeholders across the country as an inter-ministerial team seeks to develop implementation strategies.
This initiative underscores a concerted effort to manage coastal resources sustainably and mitigate the effects of environmental changes on the island. The plan aims to provide a clear framework for protecting Tobago’s valuable coastline and its ecosystems.
