Coaching School Beats St. Clair’s

In round 16 of the Tobago Football Association FA Cup last Wednesday, Coaching School overcame a one-goal deficit to win the St. Clair’s showdown.

At the Shaw Park Recreation Ground, Bertille St. Clair’s Sports Academy took an early lead when Jeremiah King found the net in the 33rd minute. However, Jabari McMillan ensured St. Clair’s Coaching School didn’t end the first half empty-handed, scoring from the penalty spot in the 45th minute. After the break, McMillan once again stepped up from the spot, securing the winning goal in the 50th minute. Coaching School is now set to face Sidey’s in the second quarter finals double-header at the Dwight Yorke Stadium on Sunday.

In other results, Keri McDonald’s brace sealed victory for Charlotteville Police Youth Club against Bethel United. Charlotteville PYC awaits the winner of the match between Roxborough Lakers and Carnbee/Mt Pleasant.

In the clash of Eastern giants, Sidey’s FC secured a late 2-1 victory over Belle Garden Sports Club. Weah Adams equalized 15 minutes from full time, nullifying Renaldo Thomas’ first-half goal. Akeem Jordan then scored the winning goal with just five minutes left in the game.
