T.H.A. says they are conducting their own investigations to determine the ownership of Gulfstream
During the ongoing clean-up operation, a crucial inquiry lingers: “Who owns the Gulfstream wreck stranded near Cove Estate, leaking a fuel-like substance?” The Ministry of National Security is actively identifying the owner and the Solo Creed tugboat involved in towing the barge. Chief Secretary Farley Augustine emphasizes their independent search parallel to the Ministry’s efforts.
While some information remains undisclosed, they have acquired the Gulfstream vessel schematics to enhance containment. Augustine highlights potential illicit activities linked to the vessel. The investigation by THA focuses on identifying the fuel-like substance. Tests by the Institute of Marine Affairs have yielded initial insights.
The aim is to secure a pristine sample from inside the ship for oil fingerprinting, ensuring uncontaminated results.See the following video for more.
