The loss of the Dragon Gas deal is nothing to celebrate, according to Chief Secretary and political leader of the TPP, Farley Augustine. Speaking on a political platform in Plymouth last night, he said it’s unfortunate that the prosperity of small countries like Trinidad and Tobago is often dictated by larger nations. Still, he believes the situation sends a strong signal about the urgent need for economic diversification.
