Chief Sec: Allow us to govern in peace

Chief Secretary Farley Augustine condemns the warrants issued to secretary James and claims political interference.

Chief Secretary Augustine questioned when the THA would be allowed to govern in peace following news that Assemblyman Trevor James had a search warrant issued against him for allegedly acquiring an inspection sticker illegally for his personal vehicle. Augustine clarified that James was not the one who took the vehicle for inspection; instead, someone else handled the process on his behalf. He further remarked that if there was an issue with the inspection, issuing a search warrant and seizing devices was not the appropriate response.
