The Charlotteville community has pledged to work with their local police in making Christmas 2023 another safe and enjoyable season for all.

The community of Charlotteville rallied to support its local police, pledging collaboration to ensure Christmas 2023 was a safe and enjoyable season for all. This commitment emerged during the launch of the Charlotteville Police Station Anti-Crime Plan on December 2nd [2023], held within the community.
The initiative was spearheaded by Corporal Julian McMillan and received strong support from members of the Charlotteville Police Youth Club, led by Corporal Rheanne Moore. During the exercise, police actively strengthened their partnership with various stakeholders across the district, visiting numerous business places and residences to identify areas where safety could be improved.
Residents and the business community were also educated on additional measures they could adopt to reduce the likelihood of becoming crime victims. The Charlotteville Police Station reinforced its unwavering commitment to ensuring the vision of the TTPS (Trinidad and Tobago Police Service) becomes a reality for the community.
According to the teams involved, community members were eager, willing, and appreciative of these direct interactions with law enforcement personnel, further solidifying the local partnership. The residents also explicitly pledged to work hand-in-hand with the police to maintain neighborhood safety during the festive period and beyond.
