Chamber supports superior hotels project

Scarborough, Tobago – The Tobago Division of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Tobago Hotel and Tourism Association (THTA), and the Tobago Divers Association all express support for the Superior Hotels Investment Project at Rocky Point in Mt. Irvine.

This significant development, which will include the establishment of a Marriott Hotel, has, however, garnered objections from various groups. Environmentalists, historians, and surfers have voiced their concerns regarding the project’s potential impact on the area, highlighting an ongoing debate about development versus preservation in Tobago.
