Caribbean Airlines Limited (CAL) has denied reports that its passengers were subjected to “mass secondary security screening” upon entering the United States, specifically in Orlando, Florida. In a statement on Tuesday, CAL confirmed that after checking with senior staff in Orlando, no such screenings occurred. The airline also noted that it had not received any notification or advisory from US authorities regarding such an exercise. The allegations came from UNC MP Dr. Roodal Moonilal, who claimed during a Monday Night meeting that “80 per cent” of passengers on a flight to Orlando faced “much more aggressive pat downs.”
